I love each and every one of my clients no matter what their story tells. Maybe this is the first baby or the fifth. Maybe they conceived easily or maybe it's taken many painful years. No matter the story, I love every one of them.
Newborn sessions are so dear to me. New love is what I am in love with when photographing my clients and what more could you ask for than a sweet child from God? I have 9 years of experience with photographing little ones and I am proud to hold the title of baby whisperer my clients have given me. Sessions with little ones from newborn and up require a lot of love and patience and I adore giving my little ones all of the snuggles they need.

what to expect
What an exciting chapter it is when you've welcomed an addition to your family. I can promise you that I am just as excited to celebrate and capture this precious time just as you are. I'll share with you what many doting parents most likely already have... these moments, this age, this stage in life; it goes by so fast. It's though as in an instant time has been a thief and you're quickly trying to figure out how to stop it. No matter what session you book the very important thing to remember is that your photographs are the only possibility of capturing time and keeping it forever. I'm a true believer in documenting and remembering as much as I can, I have beyond thousands of photographs of my children and I never think to myself once how I have to many or wish that I didn't capture those moments. More so I find myself thinking about the moments I didn't capture and the ones I'm not in.
When we've set time to talk so we can review what your family heirloom looks like, and the planning will begin. I will be with you each step in the styling and designing of your sessions as well as helping pick the perfect location if you aren't sure where to start. I'll help guide you through each session with natural posing and making sure you feel right at home. I even share information that seems pointless until baby arrives and then you find yourself at 2 AM thanking God that I shared it with you! As your baby and your family grow it's my absolute pleasure to be right there with you. Sessions run approx. one hour, newborn sessions run approx. two hours. Newborn sessions are styled by me and I have many props and outfits to choose from, I am happy to give suggestions if you prefer to purchase your own.

preparing for your newborn session
If you love a newborn session filled with those beautiful squishy poses you will want to plan your session when baby is 7-10 days old. If you prefer a lifestyle session with bright wide exploring eyes you will want to plan your session
when baby is 14-16 days old.

styling for your maternity session
Momma's let's be honest, while carrying your little one you can feel quite uncomfortable at times. Plan your session when you feel your best! It's important to choose an outfit that accentuates favorite features of yourself and your bump. Treat yourself to having your hair and makeup done professionally and make a date day of your session.

patience goes a long way ... and then there are snacks
Each family and each child is unique and therefore every session is custom fit. Remember to have patience with little ones, it's a big new world after all. I think the key to everyone's happiness in grumpy times are snacks! Make sure everyone has happy belly's before your session and plan ahead with snacks for during. A little bribing with a puff or fruit snack never hurt anyone!

planning ahead will provide a better experience
Planning ahead for your session is key. Not only allowing additional time in the day to make sure you arrive a little early but even to taking a trip with your little one(s) to your session location to let them get familiar with the area before the session date. This will help them get to know the new surrounding and become comfortable and confident prior to the session.
